While you relax and enjoy the view, you can be sure the kids will be having fun in the tree house, or building a fort, or on the swings, or playing soccer, or feeding the chickens, or looking for eggs, or grazing in the greenhouse, or visiting the alpaccas and horses next door.

 

There are some easy forest trails to hike and bike, and the canoe is down on the lake ready to go. Evening paddles are the most fun...the local wildlife gets active in the evening, and you will get to see plenty of birdlife, maybe a moose and the two friendly beavers who live behind the island.
